Association found among severe obstructive apnea, high fat diets, less physical activity in women

( American Academy of Sleep Medicine ) A study in the Oct. 15 issue of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine shows that unrelated to obesity, people with severe SDBs consume a more unhealthy diet, which may be a factor contributing to greater cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. These findings were most evident among women.

Joslin Diabetes Center Receives $3 million from Eli Lilly and Company Foundation for Obesity Studies

NIH Awards $38 Million to UCSD for LIPIDS MAPS Project
